Institute provides training to more than 200
The Northern California Coastal Region’s recent Disaster Institute provided critical Red Cross training to approximately 225 people. The annual institute was held once again this year at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga; it took place June 7-10.
John Ruiz, NCCR’s Regional Disaster Officer, says tickets (commuter or overnight) to the institute were snapped up in the first four hours after they were offered.
In all, Red Crossers participated in 60 classes or workshops during this year’s institute.
